Graham Ainge
Founder & Lead Developer
Graham is the founder — and, for now, the only member — of Studio Montague.
Playing narrative-driven games with three older siblings since the Amiga 500 era (Monkey Island, aged 7, and Ocarina of Time, aged 14) has shaped how he thinks about worlds and stories. Turrican 2, Halo and the early Borderlands games were equally alluring for their expansive worlds mixed with precision gameplay.
Prior to becoming a game developer, he spent over a decade teaching science to children of all ages and trained other teachers. Before that, he was keyboardist and vocalist in a rock band.
The development of Seed.Runner draws on all of these experiences — the discipline of teaching, the collaboration of a band, and a lifelong love of games built to be explored.
He works out of a home studio in Brighton in the UK, with two whippets watching to see what happens next.
